I spent 9.5 hours on Monday hiking into and out of Reavis Falls near Apache Lake, AZ with Matt Hebert and Sara-Beth. In total we hiked 15 miles. It should have been 14 but I led them a half mile past our turn off. Sorry guys! Matt swears it was up hill both directions and Sara-Beth thought that a breakfast bar and two string cheeses would be enough food for the trip. The falls were worth the trip. On the way out we saw one of the best sunsets that I have ever seen! Here are some pictures from the trip. Enjoy!!! 42 days until I start the long walk!
Over the past year I have had a bit of change in my life. Through this time of change I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I want the next chapter of my life to look like…. I am still lost on what I want it to look like. So to help figure it out I am going to spend six months hiking the Appalachian Trail and what better way to capture my adventure than by blogging about it. This blog will probably be more pictures than words but then a picture is worth a thousand words so I think I am covered either way. April 1st 2015 is my goal for a start date with October 15th or sooner being my anticipated completion date.
